Mary D. (Cicio) Johnson, 70 of 23 Dunkirk Ave. died yesterday in Worcester Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Melvin J. Johnson died in 1972.
Mrs. Johnson had been a machine operator for Killeen Machine Tool Co. lnc., 33 Herman Street for 15 years.
She leaves four daughters, Ruth M., wife of Anthony C. Pappas of Holden, Anna M. wife of Karl M. Washburn of Worcester, Patricia A., wife of William R. Stark of Spencer, and Rosemarie, wife of David Karagosian in Florida; four brothers, John J. Cicio in Maine, Philip Cicio in California, Patrick Cicio of Grafton, Anthony P. Cicio of Worcester; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Vernon Vt., daughter of Frank P. and Teresa (Sparano) Cicio, and lived in Worcester for 68 years.
The funeral will be tomorrow from Louis Fazio and Sons Funeral Home, 9 Branch St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Road. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be private. The family requests that flowers be omitted and that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Washington Street., Worcester.
