Konstanty Niedzialkowski, 85, of 40 Barnes Ave. died March 14, 1978 in Hahnemann Hospital He was born on 28 October 1892 in Ciepielewo, Makow Powiat, Lomza Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland and was baptized on 04 November 1892 in Szelkow, Makow Powiat, Lomza Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland. On 14 May 1910, he boarded the S.S. Ryndam in Rotterdam and arrived in the United States at Ellis Island on 24 May 1910. He settled in Worcester, where his uncle, Frank Niedzialkosky had already set down roots. He married Helen Chmielewski on 10 July 1918 in Saint Mary’s Church (now Our Lady of Czestochowa) in Worcester and the two of them had five children: Natalie Veronica, Raymond John, Jane Ann, Frederick Francis, and Henry Paul. He retired in 1961 after 35 years as a die setter at Worcester Pressed Steel Co. He left his wife, Helen (Meleski) Niedzialkowski; three sons, Raymond J. Niedzialkowski of Randolph, and Frederick F. and Henry P. Niedzialkowski, both of Worcester; two daughters, Natalie, wife of Ralph Rawding of Newington, Conn., and Jane, wife of Frank Danko of Albany, N.Y., 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.He was born in Poland and lived in Worcester for 68 years. The funeral was held March 15, 1978 from Alexander Memorial Chapel, 52 Ward Str., with a Mass at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial is in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. |
