Gary P. Clark, 57, beloved husband of Crystal L. (Ormonde) Clark, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Born and raised in Holden, he was the son of Debra (Berry) Ashford and her late husbands, Gary P. Clark and Paul “Dana” Ashford. Gary was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School, Class of 1985. He went on to enjoy a long career as a truck driver for the Keebler Company and was affectionately known as the “Keebler Cookie Elf” to friends and family. Most recently, he was a driver for Stop & Shop. Gary was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. He enjoyed listening to music, especially The Beatles. More than anything, though, he loved his family, especially when his grandkids would call him “Papa.” He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife of 18 years, Crystal Clark of Swansea, MA; his two sons, Matthew Clark and his partner, Gennette Maldonado and their daughter, Amelia and David Clark and his wife, Sara of Grafton and their son, Mason; his mother Debra Ashford of West Boylston; his two sisters, Rene Clark and her partner Todd Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO and Jamie Marrone and her husband Matthew of West Boylston; and his four nephews, Shawn and Joshua Boccia and Anthony and Andrew Marrone. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his faithful companions, Lennon and Jax. In addition to his fathers, Gary P. Clark and Paul “Dana” Ashford, he was predeceased by his niece and goddaughter, Emma Marrone. Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31 at the Miles-Sterling Funeral & Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association. |
