MARCIA M HIRTLE (MAUNUS)

Marcia (Maunus) Hirtle, 78, passed away at home on October 4, 2024. She leaves 3 children, Todd Rainey of Charlton, Brenda Dubord and her husband Paul of Berlin, New Hampshire, Mark Rainey and Dawn Parker of Worcester; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Cathy Cyr; several nieces and nephews,; and her German Shephard Gunner. She was predeceased by her husband Norman Hirtle.

Marcia was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edwin Maunus and Rose (Croteau) Hines. She graduated from Worcester Girl’s Trade High School and worked as a hairdresser for many years. She also worked as the manager of Veterans Post for over 25 years. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, and enjoyed cruising, and shopping- especially on QVC. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday October 8, 2024 from 9:30- 11:00 a.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
