IRENE KANALEY

Irene B. Kanaley, 88, of North Falmouth, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Kanaley, Sr. for 40 years.

She was born in Nova Scotia, Canada and raised in Auburn, MA where she graduated from Auburn High School. She worked as an administrative assistant in the Treasurer’s Office for the City of Worcester. Her hobbies included ceramics.

Irene is survived by her daughters, Karen Fisher of North Falmouth; Ellie Woolf and husband, Dick Woolf of Mashpee; and her sons, Robert F. Kanaley Jr. and significant other, Darlene Tominsky of North Falmouth; and Dan Kanaley and wife, Kathleen of North Falmouth. Also surviving are are her grandchildren, Johnny, Patricia and Christopher Kanaley of Dublin, CA; and Colleen, Patrick, Jesse, Sabrina and Liam Kanaley of North Falmouth.

Visiting hours will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM Sunday, March 28th in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Ave, at Route 151, Mashpee.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, March 29th in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 480 Quaker Road, North Falmouth. Burial will private.
