ELLEN B KONDROTAS (KAHELIN)

Ellen B. (Kahelin) Kondrotas, 101, formerly of Elmer Street, Worcester died Sunday, July 16th in Knollwood Nursing Center. Her husband of 53 years, Vitty J. Kondrotas died in 2002. She leaves a niece, Betty Jane Wilson of Union, ME; a nephew, Gordon Pyy and his wife, Lois of Cummaquid; and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by eight siblings, and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Centerville the daughter of Adam and Lynda (Siltenian) Kahelin and graduated from Barnstable High School. Ellen continued her education at Waltham Training School for Nurses. She worked as a nurse for many years at hospitals throughout Massachusetts.

Ellen was a devout Catholic and member of Our Lady of the Angels Church, it’s Ladies Guild, its Thursday Afternoon Club, and past tour coordinator. She was a former member of the City Democratic Committee; AARP Bancroft Chapter and the DAV Auxiliary.

Funeral services and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton will be private.
