She was the beloved wife of Leonard L. Paradiso, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage. Raised and educated in the Boston area, Mrs. Paradiso graduated from Roslindale High School. After graduation, Barbara married her husband, and moved to Framingham, where they raised their family. Barbara was a vibrant free spirit – radiating love and laughter everywhere she went. With her charming personality and effortless wit, Barbara was an incredible storyteller who captivated us all with endless stories of fun-filled adventures throughout her 92 remarkable years. When she wasn’t outside taking long walks or tending to her garden, Barbara could be found reading a good book, dancing in bedazzled shoes, or working on one of her many knitting projects. Most of all, Nana Barbie adored spending time with her family – making irreplaceable memories to carry with them for a lifetime. The love Barbara had for her family was simply immeasurable. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Paradiso of Ipswich, sons: Stephen Paradiso and his wife Beth of West Newbury; and Kenneth Paradiso of N.C., and her daughter-in-law, Wendy Paradiso of Attleboro, along with grandchildren: Joseph Paradiso, Alexa Paradiso, Avery Paradiso, Nicholas Paradiso, Hayley Sund, Kenneth Paradiso, Colby Paradiso, Christina Paradiso, Michelle Paradiso, and Danielle Paradiso, and great-grandchildren; Austin, Bennett, Juliet, Olivia, and Cooper.
