Barbara Ann (Moulton) Marrier, 85 of Spencer. Our beloved “Nan” passed away peacefully at The Meadows in Rochdale, MA surrounded by her family to be with her late husband Arthur Marrier “Pup” of 35 years who passed away in March 2021. Barbara born in Ware, MA January 1937 second born daughter to the late Hazel (Hirbour) and Harold Moulton. Barbara was a hardworking partner in the family business “Spencer Billiards” while raising four children. She was also proud of being a certified home health aid. Barb and Art enjoyed seasonal camping at Rusnik campground in Salisbury for many years, vacations at Old Orchard Beach and enjoyed the rides and amusements at the arcade with the kids. Mom loved to crochet and needle point with her mother-in-law Dorothia Marrier. A kind caring easy going woman, she cherished her friends Barbara Fountain and Janeth Girouard. Barbara leaves behind her children and grandchildren who she loved dearly always expressing how much she loved us all, Deborah Burdett Zarzecki and her husband Mark Zarzecki of Charlton, Cheryl Ricard, A. Robert Marrier of Spencer and Edward Marrier of Worcester. Grandchildren Jami Ricard whom she had a special relationship with. Jason Burdett, Shaun Ricard and Scott Marrier. Also 10 great grandchildren and two great greatgrandchildren. She is predeceased by sister Phyllis Nealer, her brothers Ernest, Richard, David, Kenneth and Gary Moulton. She is survived by her sister Janice Madsen who she had a very close and dear relationship with, being the younger sister Janice would look to her sister for guidance, brother Harold his wife Leah Moulton, Kevin Moulton his devoted companion Barbara Wozniak. Sister-in law Sarah Lorraine and Susan Moulton. Barbara and Arthur’s private graveside service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery in Paxton, MA at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home. |
