Patrick C. Cusack, 76, of Worcester passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at UMASS Medical Center. He was born in Limerick City, Ireland. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 45 years, Sidney N. (Smith) Cusack, who died in 2016. He leaves two daughters, Tara Monteiro and her husband, Tony of Worcester, and Jennifer Cusack of Auburn; three grandchildren, Tony Monteiro, Shayla Monteiro, and Rileigh Cusack; a great-grandson, Elias Muniz; four sisters, Mary Costelloe, Carmel Quinn, Teresa Ibrahim, and Pauline Cusack, all of Ireland. He was predeceased by three sisters, Noreen Bell, Helen Cusack, and Jean Enright. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pat was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Pat was an ironworker for Union Local 57. He also worked as a bartender in many different city pubs over the years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and an avid Patriots fan. Above all, Pat loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially attending their sporting events and dance recitals. A funeral will be held Tuesday, October 11, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 194 Oxford Street North, Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours are Monday, October 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., in Worcester.
