STEWART E RYAN

Stewart E. Ryan, 95, of Worcester died Thursday, April 14th in the St. Francis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. His wife of 71 years, Gertrude C. (Bergeron) Ryan died in 2020. He leaves a daughter, Donna Marie Ryan with whom he lived; and a son, Michael Ryan and his wife, Susan. He was predeceased by a son, Patrick Ryan who died in 2010.

He was born in Worcester the son of Edward and Clara (Standring) Ryan. Stewart worked for the United States Post Office for over 35 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving on the USS LST524 during World War II.

His graveside service is Monday, April 18th at 11:00 a.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
