LINDA L MORRISON (PALMER)

Linda L. (Palmer) Morrison, 61, of Worcester, MA passed away suddenly on March 28, 2022, while vacationing with her beloved family. The daughter of Clayton and Carol (Carter) Palmer, she was born and raised in Worcester. She was the devoted mother of three children: Kelly Walker (Randy), Sean Morrison, and Jessica Partridge (Timothy.) and cherished grandmother of Nyomi , Mackenzie, and Abigail, all of whom were her world. Linda’s siblings Denise Bowie (Aaron – dec.), Donna Huff (Daniel), Stephen Palmer, and Christine Palmer, also deeply mourn her loss. Many nieces and nephews are also left behind. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Palmer, in 2017.

Linda’s life was defined by nurturing those around her and performing small and large acts of kindness, both in her professional life as a Registered Nurse, and as a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a longtime employee of Saint Vincent Hospital. Linda’s family was always of utmost importance in her life. She put everyone else’s needs before hers in every situation and was always going out of her way to take care of those she loved, expecting nothing in return. Simply put, she was “all about family.” Whether vacationing or just spending time at home with her family, she lived for time with them in any capacity. She was also a huge fan of all Boston sports. Always open to exploring and experiencing new places and events, Linda would always say, “Just tell me when and how much,” when asked to join in. She was both hardworking and fun-loving.

Friends may call on the family on Thursday, April 7 from 4-7 PM at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St, Worcester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 8, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 551 Pleasant St, Worcester, with interment following in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave, Paxton. Guests should plan to go directly to church.
