DOREEN A. ADAMS (PICARD)

Doreen A. (Picard) Adams, 68, of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 19th, at Umass Memorial Hospital.

She leaves her husband of 47 years Grover C. Adams, III, two daughters; April E. Maki and her husband Brian of Worcester, and Amy R. Adams of Leicester, 3 grandsons; Brian Maki Jr., Vincent Maki, and Kevin Soucie, III.

Doreen was born in Worcester, the daughter of Ralph and Edith (Fenton) Picard and graduated from North High School, in Worcester. She worked in the mailroom at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette for over 30 years. She enjoyed Soap operas and spending time with her friends and family.

The funeral will be held on Monday, August 2nd at 11:00 AM in MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will precede the service from 9:30-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave, Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062.
