David R. Banfill, 77 of Sever St., died Sunday, Jan. 18 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. He leaves his wife of 23 years, Marcia E. (Aronson) Banfill, a son Paul R. Banfill of Arlington, Va., two daughters Christine M. Dumphy and her husband David of Oxford, and Cathy M. DeFazio and her husband James of Auburn, his brother Kenneth Banfill and his wife Ginger of Hardwick, 9 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. David was a forklift operator at Norton Co. in Worcester for 27 years, retiring in 1999. He was born in Worcester, the son of Leroy C. and Ethel L (Going) Banfill and later served his country in the Mass. National Guard. He enjoyed his vacations at Hampton Beach, watching Westerns, and his family. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 25 at 2p.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A calling hour will precede the service from 1 to 2p.m. |
