Jacqueline A. (Lessard) Cesaitis, 98, passed away peacefully at Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center on Friday, August 7, 2020. Born in Newburyport, she was the eldest daughter of the late Elphege and Florence (Davis) Lessard. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Brousseau and her husband, Warren of Worcester; her son, Mark E. Cesaitis of Worcester; her granddaughter, LynnMarie Dionne and her husband, Jeffrey; her grandson, Kevin Brousseau and his wife, Jessica. She was very proud of her seven great-grandchildren, Adam, Arthur (A.J.) and Aidan Dionne, Nicholas, Matthew, Lucas and Olivia Brousseau of Holden. She is survived by five siblings, Louise Lenahan of Worcester, Norman Lessard of Newington, Ct., Constance Nardone of Sudbury, Roland Lessard of Clearwater, FL., and Wilfred Lessard of Surprise, AZ. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Adam J. Cesaitis in 1973; her son, Donald Cesaitis; as well as her siblings, Conrad, Victor, Bernard, Robert, Raymond, Sylvia and Pauline. Jacqueline was the oldest of 13 children. She grew up in Nashua, NH before moving to Worcester and then Holden. She loved bowling, bingo, playing cards, traveling and playing the slots at the casino with her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center for the excellent care she received during her many years she resided there. They would also like to thank the team at Notre Dame Hospice. A graveside service honoring and remembering her life, as well as her sons’ life, Donald Cesaitis, will be held privately at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton.
