CARL E. FANT

       Carl E. Fant, 76, a resident of Auburn, Massachusetts, for more than 40 years, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, an employee for 34 years Heald Machine Company in Worcester, Massachusetts, before his retirement in 1984, died at University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare – Memorial Campus on Friday, April 5, 2002, following a short illness. Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2002, 5-8 p.m., at Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
