Josephine P. (Campanale) Tiscione, 92 of Worcester, passed away peacefully Friday, November 17th 2017 with her loved ones by her side. Josephine was born in Worcester, on February 21, 1925. Raised in the Italian neighborhood of Worcester, Shrewsbury St., Josephine graduated from Commerce High School. She worked as a bookkeeper many years for the R.H.White Department Store retiring in 1996. She later worked part-time as a sales rep for the Naturalizer Shoe Store. Josephine’s husband and “Love of her life” for over 57 years, Anthony R. Tiscione, Sr. passed away in 2001: She is survived by her two sons, Anthony Tiscione, Jr and his wife Rosemarie of Worcester, Frank Tiscione, Col (Ret), and his wife Rebecca of Port Tobacco, MD; three sisters, Marie Lostimolo of Methuen, Stella Bendoris of Worcester and Carol Eagles in California; five grandchildren she cherished, Dawn Marie Tiscione, and her companion Scott Grenier of East Brookfield, Michael Tiscione and his companion Ashleigh Burkey of Charlton, Kimberly Johnson and her husband Todd Johnson, Maj (Ret), in Tennessee, David Tiscione and his wife Jessica of Maryland, Stacy Geisert and her husband Andrew Geisert in Virginia. Josephine was blessed with her 1st great granddaughter, Abigail Rae Tiscione, daughter of David and Jessica Tiscione. on November 16, 2017. Many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Besides her husband Anthony, Josephine was pre deceased by her four brothers, John, Frank, Bernard and William Campanale. She was a member of St Christopher Church. Josephine loved to watch television, especially the Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud and Jeopardy. She also enjoyed, gardening when she could, and trips to Florida with her husband, Tony in their earlier years. Josephine was truly the matriarch of her family, she truly believed that faith, family and friends were the most important parts of her life and had room in her heart for everyone she met. Josephine was very generous with her love, time and resources, and would help anyone she could. Holidays, special occasions and any time she could be with her family were the times she cherished. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Monday, November 20th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester, Ma. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 21st at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, Ma.
