SHIRLEY M. ROY (JASON)

     Shirley (Jason) Roy, 88, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, October 11, in The Meadows, 111Huntoon Memorial Highway, Leicester. Her husband, Paul C. Roy died in 1981. She is survived by her children, Paul W. Roy of Auburn, Marie A.Trudeau and her husband Francis of Myrtle Beach, SC, Denise Roy of Ormond Beach, FL, twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Lorraine A. Denno, brother Frederick Jason; sisters, Evelyn Fields, Gladas Sutkus and Bertha Gregoire. She was born in Worcester a daughter of the late Frederick M. and Anna M. (Laroque) Jason.
Mrs. Roy was a homemaker. She graduated from Holy Name High School. She was a member of Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church. Shirley enjoyed attending family events, taking trips to the casino, assembling jigsaw puzzles and was known for making great tasting gullets.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from DIRSA- MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 35 Hamilton St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
