HELEN M. DAMICO (RONDEAU)

     Helen M. (Rondeau) Damico, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Rose Monahan Hospice House, Worcester. She was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of the late Frank F. and Laura (Chabot) Rondeau.

Helen assisted her husband as a bookkeeper in his gas pump repair business for many years. She enjoyed caring for her home and yard, and spent countless hours canning the wonderful vegetables that her husband’s garden produced. Helen had a great affection for the neighbors she had through the years, and was a proud resident of Sterling. She was a devoted member of St. Richard of Chichester Parish and its’ Women’s Guild.

Together with her beloved husband, Patsy, Helen celebrated 70 years of marriage this past May 18th. In addition to Patsy, Helen is survived by several nieces. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Gerald and Douglas Rondeau.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Helen’s family on Saturday, August 13 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. A Mass of Christian Burial will then be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge Street, Sterling. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
