MATTHEW T. KOZAK

     Matthew Thomas Kozak, Sr., 57, of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in his home. He is survived by his wife of thirty eight years, Judith (Gallagher) Kozak; a son Matthew T. Kozak Jr. and his wife Jami, of Clinton; three grandchildren, Ashlyn Parzych, Lainey Kozak, and Madison Kozak; a brother, Steven Kozak and his partner Peter Curtis of Alexandria, VA; a sister, Roberta Kozak and her partner James MacRae of Barre; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister, Victoria Kozak. He was born in Framingham, MA, a son of Michael and Marion (Hughes) Kozak.

Mr. Kozak worked as an auto body technician for Luddy Chevrolet of Holden for many years prior to retiring. He was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, camping and four-wheeling. Matt also enjoyed going to car shows. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10:30 am in HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Friday, January 22, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
