PHILIP F. SALVATORE JR.

     Philip F. Salvatore, Jr. passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 after an illness.

Philip was born in Worcester, son of Philip F. Salvatore Sr. and Mary (DiPinto) Salvatore. He attended Worcester Public Schools, joined the U.S. Marines during Vietnam serving his country proudly. Honorably discharged, Philip return home and accepted a position with Norton Company Rubber Wheel Division where he remained until retirement after 38 years of service.

Philips wife of 31 years Joanna V. (Chronchio) Salvatore passed away in 2013. He is survived by a sister, Carol Ann Redmond with whom he lived, two nieces Lisa A. and Gina Marie Redmond; his aunt Antoinette Boucher; many cousins and extended family members.

Philip was a member of the VFW Post in West Boylston and a former member of Our lady of Loreto Church.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vet’s Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester 01608. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
