HERBERT T. STONE JR.

Herbert T. Stone, Jr., 77, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus with family at his side. He leaves his wife of 55 years, Doris L. (Kester) Stone; 2 sons and 2 daughters, Kim Stone of Pennsylvania, Herbert T. Stone III of Worcester, Deborah Barrett of Grafton, and Scott F. Stone of New York; and 9 grandchildren.

A calling hour will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 22, at 10:30 am. The funeral will follow in the chapel at 11:30 am. Rev. Ron Wilson of Greendale People’s Church will officiate. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MA Veterans Shelter, 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
