Stanley Wronski, 87, of Worcester, died Monday, March 12, 2012, at home after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Helen (Kizys) Wronski. Besides his wife, he leaves 1 daughter, Maryann and her husband Robert, and 3 sons, Stanley and his wife Elaine of Sturbridge, William of Worcester, Matthew and his wife Jody of West Boylston and 7 grandchildren: William, Kathryn, Kim, Stephanie, Samantha, Michelle, and Bobby. He was predeceased by his sisters Helen Laskowski and Rita Fournier. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Peter and Statia (Kovaleski) Wronski. He proudly served in U.S. Army in WWII and the Korean War. He worked for several years at US Steel and Dubin Wool. He was a passionate sports fan and cribbage player and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 551 Pleasant St. Worcester, on Friday, March 16th at 10:00 a.m. for family and friends. There are no calling hours. | |
