ROBERT W. MAGNUSSON

    Robert W. Magnusson, 67, of Worcester died peacefully Saturday, December 26, surrounded by his family and close friends, at St. Vincent Hospital.

    He leaves his wife of 43 years, Carolyn J. (Kazanowicz) Magnusson; three children, William J. Magnusson and his wife Candy of Rutland, Karyn M. Gallant of Worcester and David W. Magnusson of Worcester. A brother and a sister predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Roy W. and Mary T. (Hester) Magnusson and graduated from North High School. He was an Air Force Veteran, serving as a jet mechanic in the 509th Bomb Wing stationed at Pease Air Force Base in NH.

    Bob worked for New England Telephone Company and at his father’s auto repair garage, the former Roy’s Auto Service in Worcester, following his retirement he was a self employed realtor in Worcester.

    A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 30 at 10 AM in FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St., W. Boylston. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting Hours will be held Tuesday, December 29 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worcester Veteran’s Homeless Shelter, 69 Grove St., Worcester, 01605.
