Command Master Chief Petty Officer, Randall A. "Randy" Duquette, Sr. a 25 year retired U.S. Navy serviceman, 61, of East Brookfield, formerly of Worcester passed away peacefully, Monday, June 30th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, surrounded by family after a long illness. Randy is survived by his devoted wife and partner of 42 years, Dianne P. (Davis) Duquette; his beloved four children, Michael A. Duquette of Spencer, John L. Duquette of Windsor CT, Lara A. Malloy of Washington, DC and Randall A. Duquette, Jr. of Spencer; three brothers, Ronald Duquette of North Brookfield, Roger Duquette in California and Rory Duquette of Barre; a sister, Valerie Albrecht of Gardner; eight cherished grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Randy was born in Worcester, a son of Valmore and Florence (Bouffard) Duquette. He graduated from St. John High school, served in the U.S. Navy for more than 25 years earning the rank of Command Master Chief Petty Officer before retiring. Randy then worked the past seven years as assistant manager for Concord Hillside Medical. Randy a devoted family man and patriot who cherished his family, and devoted his life to them and to serving his country in the Navy. He loved the Red Sox, fishing and playing golf. He was a member of the Bay Path Golf Club and St. George Church. A funeral with full Military honors will be held Thursday, July 3rd from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. George Church, 40 Brattle St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 2nd in the funeral home. |
