Norman H. Buron, 81, of Wallace Ave, died Saturday in Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Marie W. (Mungovan) Buron of Auburn; and his four daughters: Karen LaPerle of Blandburg, PA, Norma Germaine of Burnsville, NC, and Linda Babineau and her husband John of Charlton, and Pamela Brier of Millbury. He also leaves 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and a sister, Annette Mungovan, of Bradenton, FL. He was born in Auburn, the son of the late Rudolph and Adeline (Podvin) Buron. He was a graduate of the Worcester Boys Trade school. Mr. Buron is a proud veteran; he served his country in WWII as a member of the U.S. Navy SeaBees. He worked for 42 years for the R.H. White Construction Co. in Auburn as a construction Foreman. He was a member of Saint Joseph’s Church and the Auburn Knights of Columbus, 4158 where he earned his 4th Degree, and Past Grand Knight. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday, in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral will be held Thursday with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Josephs’ Church, 189 Oxford St. North. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus AC Foundation, 63 Central Street, Auburn, MA 01501. |
