Earl D. Gordon, 81 of 39 First St. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Friday April 28th in his home.
Earl is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years Rosemarie (Vigliatura) Gordon; four sons, Ken D. and Earl D. Gordon Jr. both of Worcester, Wayne Gordon of Webster and Ronald Peris of Shrewsbury; two daughters, Paula Petit of Worcester and Sandra Dinsdale of Holden; two brothers, Herbert Gordon of West Boylston, and Robert Gordon of Shrewsbury; a sister, Bertha Kielka of Worcester; 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Three brothers Theodore, Henry and Warren Gordon, and two sisters, Pearl Crocker and Evelyn Simmons pre deceased him. Earl was born in Shrewsbury, a son of Henry and Mildred (Plume) Gordon. He has lived here most of his life. Earl was a World War II, U.S. Marine Corp veteran.
Earl worked over 40 years in the Oil Business for Gordon Oil Company, Central Oil Company and retiring from CK Smith Company in 1990.
He was a member of the New Hope Christian Church, and the Tatnuck Square Post American Legion.
