Subscription Update Obituary

     William J. Fallon, Sr., 91, of W. Boylston, died Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Lutheran Home in Worcester. His beloved wife of 57 years Frannie was by his side. He was born in Worcester, son of Irish emigrants, William J. and Rose A. (Dolan) Fallon and graduated from the auto-mechanics program at Worcester Boys Trade School in 1944. Bill worked at Heald Machine for 37 years retiring in 1991.

Family was most important to Bill and he was a loving and devoted husband, dad, grampa and great grampa. He loved the Boston Red Sox, bowling and was always ready for a game of cribbage. Bill and Frannie loved to travel and visited Europe on several occasions. Bill was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Frances Ann “Frannie” (Doherty) Fallon, a daughter, Patricia Ann Sweet of Spencer, a son, William J. Fallon, Jr. of Mashpee, eight grandchildren, Rachel Simonelli, Rebecca, Brenda, Timothy and Daniel Sweet, and Kaleigh, Kira and Kyle Fallon, and great granddaughters, Bailee Sweet and Annabelle Fredette. A brother, Edward Fallon predeceased him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon on Wednesday, March 14th at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., W. Boylston followed by burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours will also be held on Wednesday from 10:00am until 11:30am in Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 W. Boylston St., W. Boylston.
