Wendy J. Hibbard, 55, of Wild Rose Street, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021, as a result of an accident on Main Street in Oxford. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, George B. Hibbard III of Oxford; her mother, Jean M. Stevens and her husband Robert of Auburn; her brothers, Jay Dominque of Auburn and Raymond Lapensee of Louisiana; her father- and mother-in-law, George and Irene Hibbard Jr. of Thompson, CT; her brother-in-law, Michael Hibbard of Thompson, CT; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Joseph Hibbard who died in 2015. She was born in Worcester and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1983 and attended the Salter School.

Mrs. Hibbard worked at Market Basket Supermarket in Oxford. Previously, she worked in billing and coding at UMass Medical Center in Worcester for 20 years, and worked at J.S. Westby Bindery in Worcester for 13 years. She leaves behind her dogs who were the loves of her life, Monte and JoJo. Wendy loved kayaking, all animals, reading, watching a good movie, and her many trips to the Caribbean islands with her husband. She loved traveling to Florida and going to the beach with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and her husband George, who enjoyed spending the last 30 years with her.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
