Warren W Carlson of Orlando, Florida and formerly of West Boylston, died on September 15th, 2014 after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Alma E Carlson (Phillips), his daughter Paula Alexander and her husband Marcus, of London, England; his son John Carlson and his wife Jean, of Orlando, Florida; one sister, Emily Fred of West Boylston; five grandchildren, Adam and Joseph Carlson, Victoria, Gaius and Torsten Alexander; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Carlson was born and raised in Holden, Massachusetts, the youngest of three children of John and Dagmar Carlson. He lived in West Boylston for over 55 years. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester where he previously served as a Deacon. He was a member of the Greendale Men’s club. He was honorably discharged after serving in the European theater during WWII.

He worked for Olson Manufacturing in Worcester and Holden for over 35 years. He was an avid gardener.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster Street, Worcester 01609. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
