Our dear mother Virginia Cimato sadly passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 91. She was a wonderful mother and “Nana” who was always there when we needed her.

She was born May 27, 1930, in Ware, MA, the daughter of the late Mary Ann Kuras Mathews and Faneuil P. Mathews.

She was predeceased by Carlo Cimato Sr. who passed away in 2013 and is survived by three children, Carlo Jr. and his wife Nancy of Worcester, daughter Karen Stone and her husband Leonard of Cary, NC, and Gail O’Brien and her husband Robert of Dennis, MA; three loving granddaughters, Rita O’Brien of Portland, OR., Courtney O’Brien Grimwood and her husband Glenn of Atlanta, GA, and Kristy O’Brien of Atlanta, GA; and, also a precious great granddaughter, Evelyn Mae Grimwood; and her brother James Mathews and his wife Evelyn of Egg Harbor Township, NJ and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Frank Mathews and Faneuil “Junie” Mathews.

A private graveside service will be held for Virginia at Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery.
