V. Walter Kojalo, 98, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, at UMASS hospital. He was predeceased by his wife, Ingeborg (Raid) Kojalo, in 2018 after 78 years of marriage.

Walter was born in Tartu, Estonia on February 17, 1924, son of Stefani (Plepis) and Peter Kojalo. He was an active member of First Baptist Church for over 70 years, a member of the American Metal Society International, the American Society for Quality and the American Society for Testing Materials. He loved his dogs and being at the ocean.
