Subscription Update Obituary

     Thomas J. Price, 65, of Millbury and formerly of Worcester, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at the UMass-Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

Tommy was born in Worcester, son of the late Paul T. and Margaret A. (Mackie) Price and lived in the Tatnuck Square neighborhood of Worcester until moving to Millbury in 2007 where he lived and was cared for by Stacy and Ed Mendela.

Tommy leaves a brother John M. Price and his children Jonathan, Hillary and Michelle Price, other nieces Kathrine Price and Pamela Burnette, a nephew Dennis Burnette, and many cousins.

Tommy was predeceased by his brother Paul T. Price Jr. and his sister Margaret Burnette.

Tommy was beloved by his family. He was a close companion to his mother until her passing in 2011.

Tommy enjoyed participating in Special Olympics. He attended programs of the Mercy Centre and Seven Hills.

Tommy was a joyful presence at every family gathering. His love and kindness will never be forgotten.

The funeral Mass will be Tuesday, April 27, at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Friends may visit at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
