Subscription Update Obituary

     Theodore J. Janulewicz, 90, of Worcester passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2014 in St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 101 Plantation St. His wife of fifty-six years, Pauline (Dee) Janulewicz died in 2002. He is survived by his children, Linda D., wife of Terrance F. Carroll of Worcester; Theodore J. Janulewicz, Jr. of Leicester and Gail P. Janulewicz of Southbridge; a sister Mildred Miskavich; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister, Sophie Pelligrini and brothers, Walter, Casimir and Joseph Janulewicz. Theodore was born in Worcester a son of Jozef and Bronislawa (Grochowski) Janulewicz.

Mr. Janulewicz was a United States Postal Clerk retiring in 1986. He served in the US Navy during World War II, as a Signalman 2nd Class on merchant ships in the North Atlantic. He was a member of Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church. He also was a member of the Vernon Hill American Legion Post 435.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, with a service at 11:30 AM in Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Tuesday , October 7 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at the Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
