Susan H. (LaFond) Kittredge, 60, of Holden, died peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Worcester, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Brighton, the daughter of Bernard L. and Helen (Boniakowski) LaFond.

     Susan graduated from Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Brighton. During the 1990’s she worked as a billing clerk for the Fallon Clinic in Worcester and later devoted her time to caring for her family and enjoyed being a full-time homemaker. She lived in Worcester before moving to Holden 20 years ago. She loved spending time with her family at their vacation home in Ossipee, NH.

     She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Susan loved animals and was an avid reader.

     Susan leaves her loving husband of 23 years, David W. Kittredge; her daughters, Michelle L. Conlon and her husband, Todd of Worcester and Sandra A. Willett of Worcester; her 7 precious grandchildren, Danielle, Tyrell, Benjamin, Rachel, Olivia, Rhianna and Sasha; and her great-granddaughter, Mya.

     Susan’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the wonderful care she received from the UMass Memorial medical team as well as the 4th floor staff at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.

     Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service celebrating Susan’s life on Saturday, December 14, at 3 pm in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton at the convenience of the family. Flowers may be sent or memorial donations may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, Inc., P.O.
