Steven R. Mayo passed away in Tigard, Oregon, after an illness.

Steven was born on Oct. 3, 1962, in Haverhill, MA. He graduated from Leicester High School in 1981, and was a resident of Massachusetts until 1986 when he moved to Oregon with friends. He was employed as a cook at the Keg Steak House in Portland, Oregon for many years until the restaurant closed. Steven also cooked in several restaurants in both Massachusetts and Oregon. His hobbies included golfing, camping, pool, chess, crossword puzzles, and cards. He was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics, and NASCAR.

Steven is survived by his mother, Irene Mayo, of Rochdale; his father and stepmother, Donald Mayo and Rita Johnson, of Charlton; his sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Robert Corricelli, of Oxford; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 28, at 11:00 A.M in St Aloysius/St Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
