Steven M. Benoit, 43, of Uxbridge died Monday December 12, 2016 at Milford Regional Medical Center after suffering a heart attack earlier in the day. He leaves his wife Nicole L. (DesRuisseaux) Benoit of Uxbridge. He was born in Milford, raised and educated in Sutton and was the son of the late Armand and Carol (Brooks) Benoit.  Steven was an auto mechanic for Broadbent Trucking in Douglas for many years. He also worked for Labelle Auto and Towing Douglas.  He was an avid car show enthusiast who enjoyed working on old cars. He also enjoyed RC cars, CB radios and trips to the beach with his wife Nicole. He was easy going, laid back and loved telling a good joke! Steve adored his step-daughters and was the kind of guy that would help anyone, he would literally give his shirt off his back to anyone that needed it.  Besides his wife, Nicole he leaves three step-daughters, Amy, Tracy and Kerry DesRuisseaux all of Uxbridge; his brother, Mark Benoit of Uxbridge; many cousins.
