Subscription Update Obituary

Stephen F. Annunziata, 77, a lifelong Worcester resident and former business owner passed away surrounded by his family.  He joins in heaven, his daughter Christine DiPadua who passed away in 2012, as well as brothers, Paul, and David.

Steve was born in Worcester, a son of Frank and Frances “Fran” (Sannella) Annunziata.  He graduated from North High class of 1964 and attended Worcester State College.     On April 19th, 1969,  Steve married the “Love of his Life” Carol L. Eddy.   They spent the next 54 years devoted to one another and their children with faith, family, and dedication.    Stephen worked in the printing department of Worcester State College for over 18 years before retiring.   Carol and Steve previously owned and operated Edgemere Business services.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Carol, his three children, Jill Shea and her husband Christopher of Holden, Lee DeAdder and her husband Walter of North Oxford, Michael J. Annunziata and his wife Pamela of Auburn; nine grandchildren he adored and was so proud of, Tony, Zach, Nick, Stephen, Joey, Matthew, Cameron, Nathan, and Allie; his son in law, James DiPadua; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, including Cousins, Beth, Nancy and Ron, and lifelong friends Thomas and Charlene D’Errico.

Stephen, a kind faithful soul with a huge heart and giant smile, loved to travel, notably cruising with Carol.   He also enjoyed, Sunday mornings visiting his daughters at Friendly’s on Grafton St, to wish all a Happy Sunday! tinkering with computers, summers in Harwich Port at the Cape, and playing super Mario brothers every night with Carol.   Holidays, special occasions, and dinners with his entire family were special moments Stephen loved.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Thursday, April 20th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street.  His funeral service will be held Friday at 12 noon in the funeral home.  A burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
