Beloved Mother, Nana, Sister and Friend, Sheila Ann Monfette, 62, from Worcester, MA, peacefully passed away on July 16, 2020 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones in her favorite place, at camp. She is survived by her daughter Kayleigh Sebastian and predeceased by her daughter, Angela Soule and her mother, Angela Walker.

Born in Worcester, MA, Sheila joined the United States Air Force in her teens and faithfully served her country for 12 years. She was often commended in writing for the wonderful job she did in serving the motor pool at the bases where she was stationed. She made friends all over the world and stayed in touch with them until the very end.

Sheila loved her camp and enjoyed the beach, but most of all, she loved her grandchildren. They were the light of her life. Elizabeth and Domonic Choiniere, Lilah Soule and Sawyer Choiniere made her existence well lived and brought her much joy.

In addition to her daughter and grandchildren, Sheila leaves behind her sister, Mary Ellen Wolfe, brothers, Stephen DeSalvio and Timothy “Jamie” Walker and many aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. She also leaves sons in law, Ryan Soule, Kevin Choiniere and “adopted” daughter Breeanna Choiniere.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA
