Subscription Update Obituary

     Sharon M. (O’Leary) Charbonneau, 59, of Worcester died Saturday, March 20th in St. Vincent Hospital. She leaves her husband of 33 years, Roy M. Charbonneau; two sons, Mark P. Charbonneau and his partner, Jessica Flaxington and their daughter, Charlotte Grace Charbonneau and Evan R. Charbonneau all of Worcester; her mother, Joyce J. (Carey) O’Leary of Worcester; three sisters, Donna A. O’Leary of Worcester, Patricia J. O’Leary of Oxford and Colleen A. O’Leary and her husband, Mark Ireland of Worcester; four brothers, James P. O’Leary and his wife, Catherine of Uxbridge, Dennis M. O’Leary and his wife, Wendy of Spencer, Thomas P. O’Leary and his wife, Rose of Oxford and Steven J. O’Leary and his wife, Kimberly of Worcester; close family friend, Mary Norton of Marshfield; and a very loving and large extended family.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Paul M. O’Leary and graduated from Doherty High School and Southeastern Massachusetts University. Sharon was a MedTech for 38 years at the former City Hospital and the Family Health Center of Worcester.
Sharon was a member of St. John’s Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and summers at Cape Cod and Salisbury beach. Her favorite pastimes were line dancing with her mother and fishing with her boys.
Her funeral is Thursday, March 25th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. John’s Church, 44 Temple Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday, March 24th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. All COVID 19 protocols will be adhered to, including social distancing and the wearing of face masks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Food for the Poor Program, 40 Temple Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
