On Sunday, October 15, 2023, Sharon L. (Fife) Healy “Scotty”, 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, after a nearly twenty-year journey with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

Sharon was predeceased by her beloved husband Paul Healy, her mother Lyvon (Koury) Fife, her brother James Fife and his wife Cheryl.

Sharon is survived by her children, Rhonda Dobson-Olson and her husband James, Kurt Healy and his wife Lisa, Mark Healy, Glenn Healy and his wife Kendra, and Kim Silverstein and her husband Stephen; grandchildren, Shelby Cozzolino and her husband Anthony, Brett Healy and his wife Annabell, Kerri Willis and her husband Zach, Parker Healy, Jaden Healy, Tyler Silverstein, and Rebecca Silverstein; great grandchildren, Anthony and Dominic Cozzolino, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Sharon was born on November 18, 1943, and raised in Worcester by her mother Lyvon (Koury) Fife. She met her husband Paul Healy in the summer of 1962, and they began their 56 years of marriage in 1963. Together they created a loving, close-knit family.

Sharon navigated through life with a twinkle in her eye and a mischievous grin on her face. Her witty banter and playful spirit brought joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had many hobbies including painting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, walking the neighborhood, floating in the pool, and playing cards. She had a particular liking for cribbage and pitch.

Sharon was a true artist, she had a knack for turning everyday objects into whimsical wonders, leaving anyone that knew her in awe of her imagination and creativity. Sharon and her husband Paul were proud owners of P&S Concrete Yard Ornaments, where they created and painted yard ornaments and statues by hand.

Sharon loved to travel, and enjoyed many vacations with her husband, family, and close friends. Some of her favorite places to travel to included Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Cape Cod. She loved to soak up every ounce of sun she could get.

Sharon was a devout Catholic attendee at St. Margaret Mary’s Church of Worcester, for many years. She taught catechism and continued on to serve the Legion of Mary. In her later years she became a parishioner of St. Stephens Church of Worcester. She always found peace and spiritual enrichment in her faith.

Sharon carried her love of her family and her many wonderful friends along the path of her life.

A special thanks to the staff of Faith and Family Hospice, and Transitions Home Health Services, who treated Sharon with the most kindness over the past months. We are grateful for their support and guidance.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Sharon’s family on Sunday October 22, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. Sharon’s funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday October 23, at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen Catholic Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
