Scott J. Gauvin, 36, of Dudley and formerly of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, June 6, 2022.

Scott is survived by his two loving children, Avianna and Jonathan Gauvin of Dudley; his parents, Norman and Maureen (Standring) Gauvin of Dudley; a brother, Peter Gauvin of Webster; a sister, Samantha Wilkinson and her husband, Barry of Charlton; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Scott was born in Worcester and graduated from BayPath Regional Vocational High School and worked for the Worcester Red Sox as a security officer since May 2021.

Mr. Gauvin was an avid softball player and bowler. He enjoyed playing many nights a week until he was no longer able. Scott enjoyed playing cornhole and was a fan of the New England sports teams, especially the New England Patriots. He would often take trips to Saco River in Maine as well as Florida and cruises in the Caribbean. Most of all Scott was truly the happiest when he was spending time with his two beloved children, Avianna and Jonathan.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 11 at 10 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 10 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
