Sandra (Lee) O’Sullivan, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away at 2:30 AM on September 28th. Born on October 16, 1944, in Worcester, Massachusetts, she was the cherished daughter of the late Warren Lee and Dorothy (Strom) Lee. Sandra was the devoted wife of Sean O’Sullivan, with whom she shared nearly 60 wonderful years of marriage. Their love story began on Valentine’s Day in 1962, when they met at Friendly’s restaurant.

Sandra was a proud graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester, MA. She was a loving mother to her two children, Colleen and Christopher O’Sullivan. Her daughter, Colleen, sadly predeceased her, but Sandra’s love and memories of her lived on in her heart every day. Christopher O’Sullivan, her surviving son, was a constant source of pride and joy in Sandra’s life.

Sandra is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Rebecca O’Sullivan, wife of Christopher O’Sullivan. She was the proud grandmother of Catherine O’Sullivan and her fiancée Joel Asadoorian, and Ryan O’Sullivan. Her great-granddaughter, Eleanor Asadoorian, was a special light in her later years.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, William and Jonathan Lee. Sandra is survived by her sister, Linda Lee, of Worcester. Sandra’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her strength, grace, and compassion touched many lives and left a lasting legacy that will never be forgotten.

According to her wishes, all services will be private. Sandra will rest next to her daughter at Worcester Memorial Park in Paxton, Massachusetts. Her family extends a special thank you to all the people at the Rose Monahan Hospice House for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Shriners or the Rose Monahan Hospice House, both of which were close to Sandra’s heart.
