     Rose Marie Theresa (Rioux) Knipe, age 94 of Worcester passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Worcester.

Born in Fall River, MA on February 9, 1924 to Charles and Lillian (Roy) Rioux, Rose was wife of the late Raymond Howard Knipe, Jr. She was a longtime resident of Worcester. She leaves behind her daughter Gail Knipe Vigneault and husband Richard, granddaughter Rosann Lavallee Bentley and husband Brandon, and 3 great grandchildren, Alexander Boothby, Levi Wilks, and Isabella Bentley. She also leaves behind her sister Blanche (Rioux) Fournier, niece Denise Founier Corey, nephew Francis Fournier, and niece Janice Fournier McAleer, and grandnieces and grandnephews Andrew Procknow, Matthew Procknow, Schyler Fournier, Ryan Fournier, and Amy Fournier Raimer, and 5 great grandnieces and 4 great grandnephews.

Rose was a graduate of Commerce High School Class of 1942. She taught Sunday school at the Church of God in Worcester where her former husband was the minister from 1958-69. Rose was employed at Norton Company, Bond Bread, and later at Velumoid before retiring.

Services for the family will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 22 at the Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, followed by burial at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave, Paxton.
