Subscription Update Obituary

Rosalina R. Guzman, 99, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at UMass Memorial Healthcare – Memorial Campus after an illness. She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Jose and Engracia (Torres) Rodriguez and immigrated with her husband to Fort Lauderdale in 1947. They later moved to Brooklyn, New York before settling in Massachusetts.

Her loving husband of 70 years, Ismael Guzman-Caban, passed away in 2014. She leaves her beloved daughter, Rose Guzman and her husband, Kenneth C. Parker of Worcester; four grandchildren, Janeve Suarez-Beauchesne and Jerrica, Shayne and Eric Suarez; eleven great-grandchildren: Desiree, Felicia, Derek, Ethan, Hailey, Cody, Ava, Katelyn-Rose, Sophia, Isabella and Patricia; and her sister, Enedina Rodriguez of Puerto Rico.

Rosalina worked for Injectronics in Clinton for many years before retiring. Previously, she worked for the Bali Bra Company in Puerto Rico. Rosalina enjoyed traveling with Ismael and loved to spend time with her loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Rosalina’s family on Monday, June 14th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a service at 12 p.m. in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
