Subscription Update Obituary

Rory L. Shepard,71, of Leicester, died suddenly, Friday, Aug. 5th in his home.

He leaves his wife of 23 years, Denise A. (Smith) Shepard, two brothers, Randy and David King of Madisonville, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

Rory worked in the clothing manufacturing business in Tenn., and most recently was employed by the former Millbrook Distributors in Leicester.

He was born in Evansville, Ind., the son of Donald E. and Doris N. (Myers) Shepard. He loved to read, listen to rock n roll music and was a WWE wrestling fan.

Private graveside services will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13th at 2 PM. in Life Source Church, 360 Stafford St., Cherry Valley. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc., 300 5th Ave., Waltham, MA 02451. The MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is directing arrangements for the family.
