Subscription Update Obituary

Ronnie M. (Erickson) Engstrand, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 6 at home surrounded by her husband Alan and children.

Ronnie was married to Alan(Chug)for 54 years. They loved traveling and visited many sites across the US. She enjoyed bowling, birdwatching, and baking Swedish cookies and pastries. She loved spending time with her family and friends at her home on Lake Singletary.

She leaves her husband; children and spouses, Robert and Lori, Cathy and Brad, Debra, and Lori; five grandchildren, Timothy, David, Mark, Emily, and Jamie; four great grandchildren, Noah, Sylus, Vanessa and Brianna; five siblings, Martin, Jack, Patricia, Sandra and Brenda and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Thomas and William predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of William and Marjorie (Gendron) Erickson and graduated from Commerce High School. Ronnie worked for many years in the account receivable department at Saint Gobain Company, retiring 13 years ago, prior to that she worked at the Worcester Fair.

Visiting Hours are Saturday, July 10 from 9 to 11am with a Funeral Service at 11am in Lindquist Lundin Funeral Home, 36 Butler St., Worcester. Burial will be private at a later date in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Quinsigamond United Methodist Church, 9 Stebbins St., Worcester, 01607 or JHC Home Care & Hospice, 646 Salisbury St., Worcester, 01609.
