Ronald M. Andrews, 73, passed away at home on August 17, 2023. He leaves a daughter Jeanne Andrews; a son Edward Andrews, a granddaughter Adelajda Hoflinger; and a sister Donna Jackson and her husband Quentin of WI. In addition, he leaves behind six grand dogs Marley, Molly, Atlas, Derby, Iris, and Eve. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years Elizabeth (Kerr) Andrews.

Ron was born in Worcester, son of the late Matthew J. and Adeline M. (Anderson) Andrews. He graduated from Millbury High School and worked as an abrasives inspector and manufacturer for the former Norton Company/St.Gobain for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bird watching, blue claw crabbing with his kids, gardening, cooking, doing crossword puzzles, watching spaghetti westerns, and vacationing on Cape Cod with his family.

A graveside service and burial will be held at a later date in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ronald’s memory may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Road, East Brookfield, MA 01515. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
