Robin J. (Hopewell) Menard, 61, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 with her beloved family by her side.

She leaves her loving son, John D. Menard, Jr., of Worcester; one cherished grandson, Thaddeus LeDoux; and Judith LeDoux, who was a wonderful caretaker, not only for Robin but for the entire family. Robin also leaves her devoted siblings, Elizabeth “Liz” Karpowich, of Douglas, Tina Crooke and her husband Les, of Jacksonville, FL, Donna Jandrow and her husband Phil, of Worcester, Michelle Jakubiak and her fiancé Mark Gustafson, of Worcester, Russ Lekas, of Northbridge, Anthony Lekas and his wife Karen, of Rutland; her brother-in-law, Frank E. Lewicki, of Worcester; along with many, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Gloria L. Lewicki, in December of 2021; mother, Gloria L. (Morse) Hopewell, in September of 2022; father, Andrew C. Hopewell, in 1985; and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Lekas, who passed in 2023.

Robin was born, raised, and educated in Worcester, and was a graduate of the David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. Most recently, she was a Cafeteria Worker within the Worcester Public Schools.

Robin loved crocheting, needlepoint, cheering on the New England Patriots, and watching her beloved paranormal TV shows. She also loved Johnny Depp and Keanu Reeves, who were her favorite actors. Above all, her family was everything to her, and she especially loved spending time with her son and grandson. She was proud of her heritage, to be a part of the Nipmuc Tribe, and was a longtime member of All Saint’s Episcopal Church.

Robin had the biggest heart, and was kind to everyone around her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org/donate) and/or to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org/donate).

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Robin’s family between 9:15 – 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn.
