Subscription Update Obituary

Robert S. Mirick, Jr., 91, passed away peacefully at his residence at the Overlook Masonic Home in Charlton. Born in Holden to the late Katherine (Lombard) and Robert S. Mirick, Sr., Robert was a proud graduate of North High School in Worcester.

Robert honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his service, he attended Worcester Junior College. His professional career spanned 36 years as a dedicated salesman of machine equipment and tools with Industrial Supply Co. in Worcester.

Robert had a passion for gardening and was an enthusiastic square dancer, being a devoted member of the Happy Homesteaders Square Dancing Club for over 20 years. He was also an avid Red Sox fan. Above all, Robert cherished his family and the time he spent with them.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Constance J. (Doiron) Mirick; his son, James E. Mirick of SC; his daughters, MaryAnn Rogol of SC and Janet L. Baker of KY; his step-son, Ronald P. Martel of Gloucester; his step-daughters, Lisette M. Raynor of FL, Lenice J. Milley of Auburn, Ginette A. Bailey of Oxford, and Linette T. Anderson of SC; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren; as well as 2 nieces. He was predeceased by his sister, Pauline Bassett and his beloved grandson, Nicholas.
