Subscription Update Obituary

Robert C. Warfield, 70, of Town Farm Road, died suddenly on May 19, 2021, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra R. (Chamberlain) Warfield of Sutton; two children, Kerri C. C’Miel and her husband Jason of West Springfield, and Jeffrey R. Warfield of Dayville, CT; two grandsons, Charles and Cameron C’Miel; two sisters, Claire Cormier of Leominster, and Carol Paradise and her husband Stephen of Oakham; his cousin, Deb Benoit of Leicester; his sister-in-law, Cathy Warfield of Pennsylvania; his brother-in-law, Mark Chamberlain of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, A. Ronald Warfield and Steven Warfield. He was born in Worcester, son of the late William T. and Doris V. (Bugely) Warfield, and lived in Sutton since 1982. He graduated from Quabbin Regional High School.

Mr. Warfield worked at Morgan Construction Company (Morgan-Koch, Inc.) in Worcester for 43 years, retiring in 2015. He was also a volunteer and instructor for the American Red Cross for over 40 years, teaching CPR at church and numerous other organizations. He was a member of Oak Hill Bible Church in Oxford. He was active on mission trips and traveled to Honduras many times on church missions. He helped with many church needs, such as maintenance and repairs, and enjoyed reading in his spare time.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Oak Hill Bible Church, 40 Sacarrappa Road, Oxford. Please access Sacarrappa Road by Lovett Road due to bridge repair. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Hill Bible Church, 40 Sacarrappa Rd., Oxford, MA 01540 (to be used for missions), or to the American Red Cross, American Red Cross , P.O. Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
